Field Day Fun
Dear Andrew Ave Families,
The month of May brings many sunny days and warmer weather, but it also brings FIELD DAY! As many of you know field day is a fun day filled with games, challenges, and activities for all grade levels. Field day gives the Andrew Ave Community a chance to come together and work as a team while having fun. This year we will be having Field Day on Thursday, May 23rd (rain-date Thursday, May 30th). We are looking for volunteers who would like to come and help support this wonderful day. Volunteers will be asked to monitor and run different stations this year which will allow our students to explore many enjoyable activities. Any amount of volunteered time would be greatly appreciated on these days. I hope you can come and be a part of Field Day 2019! All grades will participate in a full day of activities.
There will be two sessions:
Morning Session – 8:40 – 11:00
Afternoon Session – 12:50 – 3:00

Lost & Found
We have lots of coats, sweaters, jackets, mittens, gloves, and hats in our lost and found. Please stop by the cafeteria to see if anything belongs to your child. Whatever is left after a few weeks will be donated to goodwill.

Our doors open at 8:40 AM students can then enter and go have breakfast. (We have free breakfast and free lunch.) A bell rings at 8:55 AM at which time school officially begins. Our day ends at 3:25 PM. On a half day, school dismisses at 1:00 PM. Lunch is served on all half days. On ½ days called on account of weather and when all after-school activities have canceled SPARK and YMCA program does not run. Please make sure the school knows how your child/children will be going home on those days.
